Social media for your small business

Image
Social media can be a huge tool to help you grow your business. Using sites like Instagram, TikTok and Facebook can allow you to engage with your customer base and add to your following. I personally use a few different platforms to engage with my fellow creators, show new products, announce product launches and sales, and to reach new customers. Let’s talk about the different platforms and some things to look out for.      Facebook: You have a few different options here as far as promoting your business. You can make a business page where you can create posts, stories and events for your business, this is the option I have chosen to go with as I can cross post from Instagram to save myself some time. I’ll admit I don’t spend that much time on Facebook, but I still make sure to post. Another option you can do is to create your own Facebook group. Here you can invite followers, friends, customers to see your new releases, sales (you can host live sales) and just have...

Design Ambassador- Jesse James Beads

Image
In July I had the honor of being accepted as a design ambassador for Jesse James Beads! What's a design ambassador you ask? Well according to the JJB website a Jesse James Beads brand ambassador is "A lover of design, a trendsetter, a teacher, and a bead enthusiast." Well, I know that I love designing, creating, and wearing jewelry, so it was a no-brainer to sign up! The site also says "JJB Brand ambassadors are our top fans and content creators helping spread the word about Jesse James Beads and inspiring others to create their own beautiful beaded creations." I have always loved to help other designers or new creators, whether it be figuring out a design or what materials to use. I try to help others to the best of my abilities and sometimes learn something new in the process. Many of my best designs were created by accident or by experimenting with a new technique. That is what I love about jewelry design there are endless possibilities! Jesse James Bead...

Meet A Wandering Gypsy Co.

Hello! I’m Danielle the designer and creator of A Wandering Gypsy Co. I create handmade bohemian jewelry inspired by the beauty in nature. I love to work with gemstones and natural elements in my designs, (more about that later!) Growing up near the ocean I have a love of creating beachy boho looks incorporating sea glass, pearls and mermaid glass. I have lived a few different places, (that’s where the wandering comes in), and I have taken inspiration from each of them. I am originally from the north shore of  Long Island, N.Y. and relocated to the Midwest, living in both Wisconsin and Minnesota. Currently I am  based out of Georgia, just south of Atlanta.  I love sharing my work with others and have had the honor of being published in both BeadStyle and Bead and Button magazines. I have just recently become a member of the International organization for the Self-Representing Artist in Jewelry Design ( SRAJD), and  I have also been accepted as a Jesse James Be...
